It always seems to take me a couple of days to unwind and get my bearings, oh and eat my way through all the snicker doodles that my loving friends give me for after. Mmmm. Thanks, girls!
We had such a blast. We were silly, but got a lot of insight into ourselves, what’s next and human nature. There are some wild people out there, all just trying to find their place and their way. Sometimes it is sad the lengths we go through for acceptance. While I find my place in God, many look to people, even strangers with a scorecard to get that approval. I wonder if they even realize it. But that isn’t really what you’re looking for here, is it? A deep, heartfelt message about self realization…no, I guess not. But it’s free. So here you go.
Ok here’s the pics…
So we ate chicken. After sitting in traffic for like 2 hours. Surprised? I thought not.

Gettin’ our hair did.

Backstage, ready to go…for HOURS!!!!! We waited soooo long!

Showing off the gorgeous weather we had…complete with palm trees and mountains in the back.

Here is the best stage shot I have. The girl to my left won, and won overall. She was very tight and had come off a comp the week before. From the front, the only thing I say I needed was to be darker. From the back, she won it with her butt. I don’t really want to show you that. I’m quite proud of myself. No trainer this time. Just one persistent friend. And Crossfit.

Thanks to my family, who as usual, listened to me complain and hid food from me, encouraged me and cheered me on. Who could ask for a better husband and kids? They are top of the line!
Thanks Jenn. I don’t have many words that adequately express how much all this meant to me in terms of our friendship. You’re amaaaaaazing.
So there you have it. What’s next? 10 pull ups. That’s all I want. 10.

You both look beautiful! Congratulations and horray for CF! I’d just love one pull up, just one.
I had a fantastic time with you. Seriously hanging out with you made it all worth it.
You are one beautiful, thoughtful, hardworking, and funny as hell girl! It’s an honor to be your friend.
Now this thing better let me submit my comment. Last time I tried I wouldn’t let me.
Hi,
I’m a friend of Jenns through Mamawise. I found your website through Jenns page. You have really imspired me. I am border line type 2 diabetes and 39.4% Body fat. I have droped to 34% its a start. I followed your examples and down loaded the block chart on Crossfit.I thought is would be best to start the nutrition first and then add the exercise later. Okay, started exerciseing and I am starving.. What do I do? Do I just suck it up or can I eat more? Help
God Bless,
Andi
Hi Andi!
It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work!
No, you do not suck it up. sometimes hunger can just be your body’s craving the sugar you are trying to get rid of and sometimes you are really hungry. Here is what I reccomend, double your fat blocks the first two meals of the day. IF you are still hungry, add another block of protein to the meals you seem to feel hungriest at.
Hope this helps! My email is marthab30@yahoo.com if you have more questions! All the best to you, and don’t give up!
