Pukie and Applesauce

I went to my second offcial CF workout today. It was awesome notwithstanding the fact that pukie showed up.Pukie

I think I would have been fine with the actual WOD, but I pushed myself a little too much leading into it with Tabata squats

Here’s what I did (or was supposed to do)
Tabata Squats (20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest) 8 sets -my score was 14
then
WOD…3 rounds
25 KB @35#
15 Pull ups
So I got 12:33 for two rounds. I should have done all three under 10 minutes.

I pretty much felt like puking after the first 10 KB’s, then at the end of the 2nd Rd. I gave in. I stopped there. That was hard. To quit. I’m not a quitter but I knew that I had met my limit. I know the month off and the crap I’ve been eating all added up to this moment. Honestly, it wasn’t that hard of a workout.

So, tomorrow will be better. There will be NO junk in my mouth today! NONE!
I’m going to remove all grains and refined sugars for 30 days. I think this will be a great challenge for me and something I’ve been thinking about for awhile.
Applesauce

I ate applesauce today. I was discussing diet with the trainer at Cf and he said he has his protein source and applesauce for breakfast. I mentioned that I hate applesauce. So, of course I came home and remembered that I have a ton of it in the fridge since my kids have grown tired of it. I poured in my flax and cinnamon and had that with my eggs instead of oats. I actually liked it. No sugar added but it was still very sweet. Not half bad. That will be a new quick bfast since I’m going to try to do the 6 am workouts and will be rushing to get to school on time.

Anyone else have quick balanced breakfast ideas that don’t include oats?

    I do 1/2 cup fiber one, some berries and cup of egg whites. all mixed together. :)
