Things are a little off kilter

started the day well. Trained and headed over to CFV to workout. All is well. During the workout…posted at the side over there, I got the weirdest feeling in my forearm. It was almost like it was frozen and didn’t want to move. Then on my last pull up set, I ripped a callous. Not a huge deal except I don’t remember having a callous there. I think I just blistered and ripped all in one. For some reason when I got home I thought I had time to take a luxurious shower and stayed in there too long. I actually think I was still stunned from shoveling 105 times. Yeah. I did. So I ended up getting to work at the bell for kids to go to class…wayyyyy late!

Wondering what virtual shoveling looks like? Here’s a video to demo. All I have to say is, their weight looks lots lighter than mine felt. ;-)

Virtual Shoveling

I sent them off to their first class and went to work on some stuff in the computer lab. Would the computers cooperate? Of course not. I moved them. Plugged them in to different places and printers, nothing. Argh. I decided to copy some work for the students with one minute to go to class and the printer ran out of paper. Yeesh.

Did you ever have a day that just seemed off?

Got through my classes and went to vacuum. The vacuum whirred and pooped out. I spent 20 minutes ripping it apart, unclogging and unraveling hair from all the moving parts. Put it back together. Nothing.

And here I sit…what else? Bring it, universe. I’m so ready!

PS: Please click on the CFV link and watch the video. It is rockin’ and so inspiring to see how hard these people pushed themselves. And see me throw a little fit at the beginning, too. :-)
