Unless you are in hardcore training for something, I bet you have “one thing”. One thing that isn’t really great for the diet, but isn’t really horrible for the diet- that you have more often than a cheat day, or just on the weekends. Maybe chocolate covered coffee beans or a caramel macchiato?
My ‘one thing” that I have not given up is Diet Coke. I did give it up once for 6 months, but man I do love it.
So tell me, what’s your one thing? Spill it.

Mmmm…the one thing I eat regularly that I consider “not great” is protein powder. Ha!!! I know. I know. I would love to give it up and eat entirely whole foods but it’s so dang convenient. There is a lot of “not great” things I won’t give but for the most part I keep them for free days like fish and chips..yum. I pretty much gave up regular sodas years ago when I heard about the mats in the factory. Now I’ll have a soda once or twice a month…maybe. This is from a girl who binges on oats and blueberries!
My struggle has mostly been not what I eat but how I eat especially since I quit sugar. Almonds are good for you but not 5 pounds at once. I’m boring.
Diet coke it is……I gave it up this year for Lent but I am back to “enjoying” it again once a day.It keeps me on track.

Guess what? My group is meeting tonight so I can workout sat. If it does not rain lets meet. Mike said he would go to!!! We will have the kids so the play ground will have to be dry. Does this work for you? I can not believe he said yes…
