The power of memories

Can a single word drum up memories so powerful that your body has an immediate physical reaction that you cannot seem to shake? Can 7 little letters make your mouth water and make you start to count the change in your wallet? Can 2 simple syllables conjure up a craving so deep that you will skip meals to acquire it?

I’m here to tell you. Yes.

    I don’t know if I’ve ever had those. I used to love Star Crunches, Ding Dongs, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and the little packaged brownies with nuts. Oh how I wish I could eat Ding Dongs until I fell into a coma but then I’d wake up and wish I hadn’t.

    Oh yeah…my mom had an entire shelf in the pantry devoted to Little Debbie and Hostess snacks. My friends loved coming to my house!
