I’m better. I won’t even speculate why it happened or why it went away. I guess there are days you just have to make a choice to be happy and push through despite the sucky parts. Like someone once said “embrace the suck” about workouts, also translates to life. The suck makes you stronger. If it was all easy, then what would be the point? Kind of like Christmas everyday. Boring.
I’m feeling better about my workouts. Scaling down for my shoulder is not my favorite thing but at points it must be done. Snatches felt great but Thrusters killed, so I PR’d my snatch and scaled the thruster.
I’m resting this weekend with lots of icing and fish oil. I will be back to RX’d in no time.
My class reunion is coming up in November and I’m feeling a little food challenge coming on. I’ve been pretty relaxed of late and would like to lose a little fluff. Don’t want to show up with a muffin top or anything.
I leave you with a poem:
Haiku To Sunbutter
Your creamy goodness
Satisfies my aching gut
Need to buy some more
(I know. I’m a dork. Whatever.)
PS. Did your brain tell you the first word in the title was a cuss word? Every time I look at it, I think it is. Ha.

Ha!! I had to take a second glance at your title!!! If you want to partner up on the food challenge I’m game. Nothing special coming up but I’m always happy to lose a few more pounds and our accountability texting always helps.
